value is the raw number, display the formatted one, reading and tone the plain-language band (low, neutral or high), date the UTC day it describes, url the indicator's page. Hash Ribbons also carry dataSource, crediting mempool.space for the hashrate.

Yes. No key, no sign-up and no rate limit beyond normal caching. The only condition is a visible link to coinsentry.app wherever the values are shown; the badge snippets already include it.
Once a day, shortly after the UTC daily close. Responses are cached for an hour, so polling more often than that returns the same numbers.
Its data belongs to alternative.me, who publish their own free API at api.alternative.me/fng. Use theirs directly, with the credit their terms ask for.
No. The API serves the latest daily value and reading for each indicator. The methods behind the risk metric and the power law fit are coinsentry's own and are not published.
