How these pages work
- 01One price series
Daily BTC/USD closes from Bitstamp, back to August 2011. A single exchange, never stitched from several, so the history has no seams.
- 02Computed once a day
Right after the UTC daily close, every moving average, ratio and score is recomputed from the full history.
- 03Judged against history
Every page shows what its indicator read at each cycle top and bottom since 2013, so today's value comes with context.
Fair questions, straight answers
Daily BTC/USD closes from Bitstamp's public API, going back to August 18, 2011 — the longest continuous single-exchange Bitcoin price history still available. Every indicator on these pages is computed from that one series, once per day after the UTC close.
Once a day. Each value uses the last closed UTC daily candle, so today's value appears shortly after 00:00 UTC tomorrow. The charts show weekly points to stay light; the headline numbers are daily.
The Mayer Multiple, Pi Cycle Top and 2-Year MA Multiplier follow their standard public definitions, so readings should match other sources up to data differences. The risk metric and the power law fit are coinsentry's own and will differ from other versions.
Yes. Indicator alerts watch the risk metric, Mayer Multiple, Pi Cycle, 2-year multiplier or power law and ping you on Telegram, Discord, Slack, email or webhook the first daily close it crosses your level — for example, risk rising above 0.8 or the Pi Cycle ratio reaching 1.00. They're part of the Unlimited plan.
