Golden Ratio Multiplier — each top a band lower.
Bitcoin's 350-day moving average and its multiples by 1.6 (the golden ratio), 2, 3, 5, 8, 13 and 21. Each cycle has topped at a lower band than the one before, which makes the bands a map of Bitcoin's shrinking peaks.

Shrinking multiples
Philip Swift published the indicator in 2020. The pattern is the point: 8.1× the 350-day average in 2013, 5.4× in 2017, 2.8× in April 2021, 1.55× that November and 1.25× in 2025. The 8×, 13× and 21× bands belong to Bitcoin's earliest cycles and start hidden; toggle them on above the chart.

Fair questions, straight answers
Bitcoin's 350-day moving average and a set of multiples of it: 1.6× (the golden ratio), 2×, 3×, 5×, 8×, 13× and 21×. Philip Swift published it in 2020. The bands frame how far each cycle stretched above its long-term trend.
Each cycle topped at a lower multiple: 8.1× the 350-day average in 2013, 5.4× in 2017, 2.8× in April 2021, 1.55× in November 2021 and 1.25× in 2025. That shrinking pattern is the main thing the indicator shows.
Price is under its long-term trend. All three bottoms in this history sat well under it: 0.35× in 2015, 0.41× in 2018 and 0.51× in 2022.
